Round in a circle
My life seems to go
Where it will stop
I really don't know
I live on a sine wave
its all up and down
Sometimes its all smiles
and at others I frown
But when I think of it
and how life could be
Why want a square life
That just isn't me!

You mean at the peaks and troughs? They are quite small though and often represented as a single point on a graph!
But doesn't it make an even better analogy for life? Ups and downs with stable high and low points?

Liked your poem. Hadn't thought before about how a sine wave describes a circle (to me at the moment representing those areas where I am stuck) and yet is that beautiful and mathematical form that rolls through space or time or both or life (those areas where I keep going and discover).

I had a sine wave described to me like looking at a rotating circle side one once, must have been physics a level or at uni. But if you traced it and stretched it out a sine wave would be what you get if you see what I mean?
I don't think this is one of my best but its one of my favourites lol!

As a tedious pedant, I feel I should point out that sine waves do have points that are horizontal. Still, it's a much better poem than we usually get on here!
