I had a sine wave described to me like looking at a rotating circle side one once, must have been physics a level or at uni. But if you traced it and stretched it out a sine wave would be what you get if you see what I mean?

I don't think this is one of my best but its one of my favourites lol!

Liked your poem. Hadn't thought before about how a sine wave describes a circle (to me at the moment representing those areas where I am stuck) and yet is that beautiful and mathematical form that rolls through space or time or both or life (those areas where I keep going and discover).

You mean at the peaks and troughs? They are quite small though and often represented as a single point on a graph!

But doesn't it make an even better analogy for life? Ups and downs with stable high and low points?

I live on a sine wave
its all up and down

As a tedious pedant, I feel I should point out that sine waves do have points that are horizontal. Still, it's a much better poem than we usually get on here!

it's not easy, as shyness often can be misinterpreted as arrogance, as unfriendliness. How much effort will you put into someone who you feel is not interested in your company?

Its the ones who aren't willing to look passed the shyness that I wrote it about, as there are plenty of those too!!

The mood it sets reminds me of the song "Crushed" by Front 242. The chorus of which goes:
